A boy who is loved by his entire family
A boy whose only parent forgets he even exists.
And a delicate moment shared in the unlikeliest of places.
Scott: I normally do this myself, you know.
Miguel: Okay, but do you do it properly? Do you use laundry liquid and softener?
Scott: No, I don’t have that stuff at my house. And I usually do it by hand. But you made me meet you here today.
Miguel: You should start washing your clothes properly. Look what I bought. It’s the same stuff my mom uses, so your clothes might smell a bit like mine afterwards.
Scott: I told you, you don’t have to worry. I don’t have that much stuff to wash anyway.
Miguel: And I told you, I can help. I worry when you tell me you wash your clothes by hand! That’s not normal Scott!
Scott: [Laughs] You take care of me too much. Is this what it’s like to have a mom?
