Summer Splash

I love trying new and different techniques that can add interesting qualities to my artworks. I remember watching a video years ago that discussed the importance of aspect ratios in film making. There was a specific technique called ‘split depth’ that is used in several films, such as The Life of Pi. This technique has visual effects that jump past the edges of the screen. I have used this technique a few times in my artworks in an attempt to create an artwork that is more visually engaging with great success!
